Privacy Policy

This policy explains what StrideCheck, operated by Nullspark LLC, collects and how it is used. The short version: your videos are processed to analyze your stride and deleted from our servers within about 24 hours, your results live on your device, and we do not sell your data or show ads.

1. What we collect and why

• Running videos. Videos you record or upload are sent to our analysis server to measure your stride. They are used only for that analysis and are automatically deleted from the server within approximately 24 hours. A copy of your video and your results are stored locally on your device so you can review past reports.
• Height and quiz answers (goal, weekly volume, any current pain, surface). Stored on your device. Your height and pain answer are sent with an analysis request because they are needed to compute and phrase your results.
• Sign in with Apple (optional). If you choose to sign in, we receive an anonymous Apple user identifier. We do not receive your password. You can use the app without signing in.
• Purchase status. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive subscription status, not your payment details.

2. Service providers

• Analysis server. Our own server processes your video to detect body landmarks and compute metrics.
• Google Gemini API. The written phrasing of your report may be generated from your computed metrics (numbers and short template text). Your video is never sent to Google.
• Apple / RevenueCat. Purchase processing and subscription management.

3. What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent your personal information.
• We do not show third-party ads or use advertising trackers.
• We do not use your videos to train AI models.
• We do not collect your precise location.

4. Notifications

If you allow notifications, the app schedules a local reminder (for example, a re-test nudge two weeks after an analysis). These are generated on your device.

5. Data retention and deletion

Server-side: uploaded videos and analysis working data are deleted automatically within approximately 24 hours. Device-side: your reports, saved videos, and profile stay on your device until you delete them. You can erase everything at any time with "Start over" in the app's settings, or by deleting the app.

6. Security

Data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS. Analysis data is stored on access-controlled servers for the short retention window described above.

7. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete personal information. Because StrideCheck keeps your data on your device and deletes server copies within about 24 hours, the fastest path is usually the in-app deletion described above. For anything else, contact us and we will help.

9. Changes

We will update this policy as the Service evolves and reflect material changes by updating the effective date above.
